Growing Up

I think I have finally caught up on all my pictures. School is finally out for the summer and now it is time to enjoy fun and sun. On May 21st, Seth graduated from 4th grade and will be in middle school in August. Oh my how time has flown. It was a sad time because I no longer have any little ones and that is scary. My oldest one, Eric is a 7th grader and next year will be his last year before high school.
I will always have 20 four year olds since I am a pre-k assistant and that is an amazing job. I have really enjoyed being in that class, watching those kids grow, learn and play. This was my first year and the amazement of how well they did. We had 11 kids reading and they all were ready for kindergarten.
I am excited that I will be starting school again this fall because I really want to get my Elementary Education degree and once I do that I will go back and get my Early Childhood so that way I can be certified for Pre -k thru 6th.

Science Fair

HERE IT IS.....
This is Seth's science fair project and yes we made it to county. Third time to county but never any farther. It was pretty cool watching him and his poppa making it, though.
Looking back on science fair: K - Anemometer (county), 1st - He made plastic cups move with electricity from TV (Honorable Mention), 2nd - Static Electricity (nothing), 3rd - Built a AM radio out of oatmeal box (County) and 4th - Wind Tunnel (County).

Space Museum

During Spring Break, we took a small trip to the Space Museum in Huntsville, Alabama . We mainly had to go because Seth was working on his science fair project and we had to do research; plus Patrick had never been. After it was over Patrick was somewhat disappointed but I can't blame him. It has changed because I remember it being a little bit more interesting than what I saw. The kids enjoyed it and thats really all that matters. Now Seth is wanting to go to space camp for next year.

Easter

Here are just a few pics of the family on Easter. I wanted to have one of just Me, Patrick and the boys but needless to say you can't get the three boys to cooperate..
I know that I miss those days when the kids use to hunt for eggs, oh how they grow up too fast.

Soccer Game

Eric, who made the school soccer team, had his first game last week (4/9/09). I was so proud of him. He did very good for his first year in soccer. Keep up the hard work and stick with it, things pay off in the end. The pics didn't turn out like I would have liked due to the position of the sun but I can't complain, it was such a beautiful day..

The first pic is from the top of the Ziggurat temple looking out over whats left of the city of Ur and the second pic is of him standing in the inner courtyard of Abrahams' house.
